24But the word of God grew and multiplied.25Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalemwhen they had fulfilled their service, also taking with them John who was called Mark.

1Now in the assemblythat was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers:Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger,Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.2As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said,“Separate Barnabas and Saul for me,for the work to which I have called them.”

3Then, when they had fasted and prayedand laid their hands on them, they sent them away.4So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia. From there they sailed to Cyprus.5When they were at Salamis, they proclaimed God’s word in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their attendant.

2May God be merciful to us, bless us,and cause his face to shine on us.3That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations,

5Oh let the nations be glad and sing for joy,for you will judge the peoples with equity, and govern the nations on earth.

6Let the peoples praise you, God.Let all the peoples praise you.8God will bless us.All the ends of the earth shall fear him.

44Jesus cried out and said,“Whoever believes in me,believes not in me,but in him who sent me.45He who sees me sees him who sent me.46I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.47If anyone listens to my sayings and doesn’t believe,I don’t judge him.For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.48He who rejects me,and doesn’t receive my sayings, has one who judges him.The word that I spoke will judge him in the last day.49For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak.50I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak.”
