Christmas Time 2019–20 Philippines

From Wednesday, 25 December 2019 to Sunday, 12 January 2020. The Sunday readings are from Year A, the weekdays from Year II (why).

Christmas Time runs from the Nativity of the Lord to the Baptism of the Lord, in white. Its first eight days are the octave of Christmas, which ends on 1 January, the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.

In the 1962 Missal, 1 January is the Octave Day of Christmas, the Epiphany keeps its own day, 6 January, and the season closes on 13 January with the Commemoration of the Baptism of the Lord. The Sundays that follow are counted after the Epiphany.
