3Moses came and told the people all the Lord’s words,and all the ordinances;and all the people answered with one voice,and said, “All the wordswhich the Lord has spoken will we do.”

4Moses wrote all the Lord’s words,then rose up early in the morningand built an altar at the base of the mountain,with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.5He sent young men of the children of Israel,who offered burnt offeringsand sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to the Lord.6Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins,and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.7He took the book of the covenantand read it in the hearing of the people,and they said, “We will do allthat the Lord has said, and be obedient.”

8Moses took the blood,and sprinkled it on the people,and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant,which the Lord has made with you concerning all these words.”

12What will I give to the Lord for all his benefits toward me?13I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the Lord’s name.

15Precious in the Lord’s sight is the death of his saints.16Lord, truly I am your servant.I am your servant, the son of your servant girl.You have freed me from my chains.

17I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving,and will call on the Lord’s name.18I will pay my vows to the Lord,yes, in the presence of all his people,

11But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things,through the greater and more perfect tabernacle,not made with hands,that is to say, not of this creation,12nor yet through the blood of goats and calves,but through his own blood,entered in once for all into the Holy Place,having obtained eternal redemption.13For if the blood of goats and bulls,and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling thosewho have been defiled,sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,14how much more will the blood of Christ,who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God,cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?15For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant,since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressionsthat were under the first covenant,that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

12On the first day of unleavened bread,when they sacrificed the Passover,his disciples asked him,“Where do you want us to go and preparethat you may eat the Passover?”

13He sent two of his disciples and said to them,“Go into the city,and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him,14and wherever he enters in,tell the master of the house,‘The Teacher says,“Where is the guest room,where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’15He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready.Get ready for us there.”

16His disciples went out,and came into the city,and found things as he had said to them,and they prepared the Passover.

23He took the cup, andwhen he had given thanks, he gave to them.They all drank of it.24He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant,which is poured out for many.25Most certainly I tell you,I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine untilthat day when I drink it anew in God’s Kingdom.”26When they had sung a hymn,they went out to the Mount of Olives.
